the Rancher is a cool bike...

I opted for the 2wd-es model, and have nothing but good things to say about it...

Your price of $4100 is a steal tho...you did good.

I had an 01 es 4x4 for over 3 years and loved it. I got a set of new mudlites for it and it as like a brand new bike. You'll be very happy with the rancher as time goes on. Congrats on your new machine.

Eventually, think about some (lighter) aftermarket tires and rims. And maybe, a K&N, aftermarket exhaust, and of course a rejet.

I like mine too. I'm even amazed at the way this utility machine jumps. I've pushed it through a MX track many times, and even on the big jumps, it lands with no problem. It's quite an all purpose ride! Go Honda!
