for future reference to check to see if you have a twisting swingarm or possibly a broken motor mount, just squeeze the top and bottom of the chain. If your pivot bearings are bad it will put enough pressure on the swingarm to actually make it move. That'll tell you your problem asap rather then spending 45 minutes pulling the rear assembly out
