Default 400ex Swingarm Bolt!!

While pulling my engine the other day, everything was going really smooth until the last bolt!
The swingarm bolt. Man I beat on that sucker, heated it up with a torch, beat on it some more broke a ratchet. That sucker was froze, I finally ended up cutting a section out of the right side and was able to scoot the motor over just enough to cut the other side with a torch. But what a hassle! I still have a section of the bolt froze in the motor, I am keeping it lubed up with some WD and hope it will brake loose. Otherwise I guess I will drill it out if it is not hardened steel! What a way to ruin an easy engine swap.

Yea good luck, it is a hassle. I bought a stainless steel main bolt and lubed it with anitseeze, and it was still hard to take out after 1 year only. I say keep it lubed and heat it again and try getting it out. Drilling it out might cause a off hole and misalingment.
