Thanks for the Great reply...it's nice to hear from another desert rat who gets it !!.I couldn't agree with you more.
My dad used to race and ride with Don Vesco in the good ol' days and I've done my share of "supermans" in sands of Calif. desert..the "human" landings always sucked...but thats the price one's willing to pay to get better!!
I always wore a helmet..for saftey...and packed double with girls..for fun. It's just a shame big government had to get so involved ...but with the population exploding so fast I quess it was only a matter of time.
Ride save and watchout for those puckerbushes!!

Ya know, if everyone else could remember the stuff their old dads were talking about, the dunes and desert wouldn't have the problems. I may not agree with a lot of the stuff my dad said politically, but when we were in the desert, the only thing left behind was unused firewood and a few tire tracks. He loved fast machines and he loved the desert and so do I. When I die, ya'll can come on out to Glamis, my wife is going to spread my ashes out there, give everyone a cold brew and have you spin donuts in my ashes! It ought to be a great party! I'm living life everydamnday and I'm having a great time!

Wife's quad--'87 Honda250R fourtrax, Boyesen reeds, FMF Fatty pipe, '86 250R ATC head gasket, Holeshots on Douglas red dots in front, Sandskat II's on Douglas red dots rear, IMS 3.6 gal fuel tank, Renthal bars

Mine--'86 Honda250R fourtrax, Boyesen reeds, FMF Fatty pipe, holeshots front, Sandskat I's rear, IMS fuel tank, Renthal bars

If you were riding doubles then you aren't smart enough to be riding quads!
