I am wanting to pick up a four stroke race quad as I a selling my mx blaster. I need help deciding if this quad would be worth the money. Here is the add.

Do you think I should try to haggle him down a bit or is that a fair price? On a mx track could I still be competitive with the new 450's? Do you think I should be able to beat a stock raptor or trx or yfz450 in a sand hillclimb? Thanks alot for the relplies everything is helpful.

Yeah no kiddin about saving money ruling. But how about the hill races should I be able to stay ahead of them and would I need a bigger carb if it doesnt already have one?

Sorry but you prolly won't run with the 450's on the track. Up a dune(idiot hole) you might get them with torque. That is a killer deal though. Get on it like, stink on well you know. If it doesn't have an fcr 39 carb they are worth getting.
