Default 450R, pred, kfx400 for trailriding???

Here's the thing..hopefully in a couple of months I'll be getting a new quad....and honestly...I love the 450 R,,but I heard the first gear is tall..I'm sure you can change the sprocket to fix that..but I want something reliable...and fast..because I also ride dunes sometimes and a little mx and drag...I want a quad thats going to tear up the trails and dunes and smoke my buddies 24/7...What do you guys think??

The pred wouldnt be too bad of a choice, but for what your doing, that is what they made the 450r for.
