Both pipes are top quality pipes. Both pipes run about 20 decibles above the threshold of pain.

do they really run at like 140 decibles? i think that sounds a tad high, or what do you think the threshold of pain is? cause i know its 120 decibles (not trying to start an arguement or anything)
anyway 400excrazy i would run with the hmf, they look really sweet and are an all around great deal, just my 2 cents.

I was just trying to say that they are extremely loud. I have no idea what the threshold of pain is (in regards to decibles)

If I remember correctly, the HMFs run about 98db at 3000 rpms, and in the low 90s with the quiet cores installed.

98 db is pretty quiet compared to the high quality e-series. It scores 102 before it falls apart.
