Default Rancher ES 2X4 Lift Rims and Tires

I am getting a Yellow Rancher ES 2X4 if I can find a damn dealership here with one....

I want to get a lift on it.

Anyone have any suggestions on how high?

Also, I want to get some nice beefy tires for trails (I don't need sand tires)

Black rims (would love something that looks like a bead lock)

Anyone have any suggestions?

What size wheels should I get and what type of lug set up do I need to get or tell the guys at Discount Tire.

To me, the beauty of the Rancher (especially the 2X4) is that it is a light , agile, mid-size TRAIL machine. For me, it is a crime to try and turn one into a monster mud bogger or whatever! It just isn't what the bike was intended for! If you want to build a monster, go with a machine with a bigger frame and displacement. I think you will be disapointed with the Rancher if you load it down with a bunch of huge tires, etc.

Why a 2x4? Get the new Rancher it has 2/4 wheel drive. Then you can lift it 2" lift kit look twards the bottom. If you are looking for tires look at the MAXXIS MUD BUG tires. I have the 26x11x12 on the front and 26x12x12 on the rear. I had to buy new rims for the rear because the stock ones were 11". So I just used Foreman rims. Works wonderful. Are you talking about a bolt pattern for a lug set up? If so...4/110. Here are your wheels you probably want too.
Hope this helps ya some.

OK maybe no lift then...

Regardless I want to get some big mean tires....

Not mud boggers, trail tires.

I run ITP Holeshot ATR tires (25") on ITP 12X7" rims. It makes the bike quite a bit wider, for some nice added stability, and it looks great! They aren't so big or heavy that they rob the engine of a lot of power, and the handling is WAY MORE SPORTY THAN STOCK.

And, a K&N and FMF MegaMaxII muffler, perked up the power quite a bit.
