Default just got a FMF for my 400ex and I'm not to happy

it was a pain to get on, it didn't seem to line up right, but why I am really upset is b/c the pipe now sticks out past the grab bar [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

you know, FMF is a big company you think they could've done a bit more R&D and made the pipe fit a little better and not stick out past the freakin grab bar, which is another bone head idea by Honda not being able to replace the grab bar [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

If you read any of the mags, one of the area that they always comment on is how things mount up. If you ever get something that mounts correct or easy it is rare, Some people talk about able when mounting nerfbars of having to redrill the wholes. It is like they did amock up to make the 1st one but didn't check it after making some.

isnt there after market grab bars that like go around the grab bar. pretty sure there is u could probobly get one for 60 bucks, thats what id do

FMF's big pipes stick out the back on a lot of the smaller bikes. They have to do that to get enough pipe volume, to keep the sound level down. Surprised you hadn't observed that!
