Interesting Ebay auction.......
I bought one of those engine off ebay about a year and a half ago. A brand new 85 atc engine for $840 shipped.
When I got it I immediately installed an 89 clutch upgrade kit and an esr 310 top end. I sold the brand new cylinder piston and head for about $190, sold my old engine for $680. Then I polished the clutch and stator covers and installed the engine into my 87 frame.
It has ran flawless ever since. This was the best ebay deal I have ever made. When everything was said and done I basically traded a used engine for a brand new one for free.
