Big Gun or E-Series?
#1
Finally got enough cash saved ($500) bucks. Im goin for K&N Jet kit/filter kit, exhaust mods.
Im stuck between getting the complete big gun system or just the slincer w/the e-series. Im looking to awaken my machine from that snorkel its been breathing thru. Does anybody recommend one or the other, also if i went with e-series i would step up the front tooth to a 14 tooth front sprocket to gimmie more power down low, i dont do much top ending. thanks in advance.

Pro meg complete on mine.My buddy has the slip on e-series on his.bottom end is very snappy response and revs quickly throughout entire range.pro meg is stronger overall.Still have stock gearing and have no problem popping front end up with blip of throttle 1-3rd.Dont even use first gear in trails because throttle respone is so fast/touchy it either breaks tires completly loose or pops front end straight up with slight blip of throttle.14t front sprocket would probably take some of the edge off but I dont ride trails only and I dont want to constantly switch sprockets for trails and dunes.Fit and finish is excellent on both Wb pipes. They did have a problem with welds breaking at can body bracket on first production run but have since fixed that probem. The big gun is a good solid performer but the finish on the ones I have seen(appx 8) has been poor.Gaps between end caps and can body up to 1/8 filled with silicone from manufacturer, loose rivets on can, contaminated weld joints. Not impressed.Could be first run problems. Also can body sticks out past rear grab bar, prone to breakage/damage when stood up on end.

I have big gun complete system w/race core.. i love it it waked up my my ex. My muffler never touches the ground when i stand it up on it's back to wash it. i recently got it dynoed and it pulled 36.5 hp at 6,000rpms. all i have done is take the lid off the airbox and put in a jet kit... go w/big gun
