Yoda,
Yup, got it back on Friday. Rode all weekend, seems to be fine so far. They did the 500k service 2 weeks ago and shorted me 1 quart of oil. This caused the tranny to slip out of gear under load. I did check the oil and noticed it was low...dealer said that shouldn't do anything, well I guess it does do something.
My buddy has a 65o Praire, had his in for service also. We were up the mountain and his started spewing oil, service forgot to tighten valve covers...blew a seal. Gotta love those crack heads in the service field, hope you have a good tech !
I had another weird thing happen. Hosed my bike off (carefully) then started it, the ESP dislpay was flashing and it was stuck in Auto mode. Also, was really missing in reverse. Cleared it up but, what the hell?! Are the wires that sensative?
How's your bike Yoda?

I'd buy a Foreman 450. Hey, I did.
The only reason to buy a Rancher 400 over a Foreman 450 is because it's an auto. You could actually get a 433cc quad cheaper than a 397cc. If the Rancher 397cc came before the Foreman 450, people would be buzzing about the the extra 36cc with the 450.
I really don't like the looks of the Eiger. The speedo is cheaper and I don't like the 4x4 switch on the Eiger. But, you can't ignore what you get with the Eiger at a cheaper price. For the money, I'd pick an Eiger over an AT. I would also pick a Foreman 450 over them both and I did.

Spud,
My quad is good. I don't get to ride a lot. Work , kids, grass, and puppy make for a full week.
My bike did the same thing last winter. I was plowing and it was stuck in 1st, and missed terrible in reverse. I drove it to garage turned it off, restarted it and it was fine. Man, for 15 seconds I was wishing I bought a manual shift. But now I am glad I have the auto.
Do you believe our quads are going to be recalled? I hope they do, but I have my doubts.

Yoda,
I doubt it as well but who knows? When are you coming to ride in the Great Wildernes?

I have told the dealer to consign my Honda Rancher. They will upgarde me to the Vinson Manual for about $500. I just don't trust this particlular unit. I believe they are a good bike, however, I got a lemon. Guess I shouldn't have picked yellow.
