Default NEED HELP ASAP BAD!!!

ok i got a 87
250x

ok well i have pipe on it k and n filter it has a 125 jet in it plug is nice an dbrown

well it starts and ha sno power just spits and sputters and will not rev up but if i put the choke on it runs great will run same as befoire without cheoke on so it runs around 60 something mph soon as i turn choke off back to running bad again i cleaned all the jet and carb ne wplug cleaned filter checke dpipe to see if it wa splugged adjusted the valves i mena i am stummpedanyone got any ideas i mean it starts on the 2nd kick but i dunno it has compression and if it was a bad valve i dont think it would run in the 60's well i dont know any help woul dbe appreciated thanks

Did this start immediately after you added the pipe and filter??

A 250X with a pipe change alone usually runs in the neighborhood of a 130 main, so you may be OK there.... But with the K&N, you may have to bump up a bit more.

If you aren't running an airbox lid, that is definately not helping matters any.
Are you still running your airbox lid? If not, does it run better with it on?
