V-Force A big part of racing is getting tired shifting and all and with this Auto, from what I read racers weren't so fatiged after races. PLUS its a 700cc OOPS I just realized I sugested a Kawi in the Honda fourm....SORRY
Good luck

Oops, just noticed your in Nova Scotia, so I dont know what kind of age limits there are. Considering you have kid in your name, your probably younger and on a tight budget, so a 400ex would be perfect.

Hey, mojavekid13, I see you are from New Minas, did you get out to the races at Mill Hill last weekend (May 23)? I raced there and ended up 2nd (Jr. class) before the races were called off. That track is awesome, wish it hadn't rained so hard. I don't know what the age limits are, but they are probably on the CMRC website, I will check and see what I can find out.
OK, it looks like you would be OK, here is a copy and paste from the CMRC Rulebook:
4) ATV classifications:
Junior – (Open displacement) 14 yrs. +
Pro – (Open displacement) 14 yrs. +
Mini ATV Tykes up to 72cc
Mini ATV Pee Wee 73cc to 105cc
Mini ATV Open Up to 125cc
The link to the rulebook can be found under general, in the lower left corner of the CMRC homepage. www.cmrcracing.com
Wish you well, most of the guys I am racing against are about half my age, the last time I raced before this year, the 250R was a brand new machine. (I'm 35 now, and having a blast)
As far as what bike to get, the 400EX is a great race bike (to be competetive you will likely have to put some money into it though), but if you can afford it, go for a TRX 450R or a YZF 450 (or whatever it is called), they are both awesome quads. The 450R is quite competetive stock, my first race I finished 3rd (after losing my tether switch strap), and 1st in the 2nd moto, to give me a 2nd overall for the day on a stock 450R.
Good luck.
