400ex exhaust question

Default 400ex exhaust question

what is the best 400ex slip-on exhaust i can get? how loud is it, i dont want to get one that is really loud. will i need to rejet?

In my neck of the woods the majority of the pipes I install on 400ex's are BIG GUN's with the BIG GUN CDI. The last one I did I didn't even have to rejet.

yup if your looking for just a slip on get the Big Gun.one of my freinds has one and it is awesome.It is pretty loud and it sounds downright awesome.

go to sparksracing.com and get the x-6, 489$ really loud and the most power gain

damn speeddemon you never let up on the Sparks pipe do ya?lol.They are a good pipe and i recomend them too.

i have been running with my sparks pipe for the past year. its a great and reliable pipe. i recomend the pipe speed said. they are also not that loude either

for power, the sparks is way better than the big gun. the big will only produce low end. top end is no good.

HFM...and yes on the rejet...depending on where you live a 155 to 170 main

i've done a few white brother, including on my 400ex. from what iv seen, it is the best. it uses tuning disces to adjust backpressure and sound. you can make it as quiet or loud as you want. you dont nessesaraly have to rejet but i highly suggest it. your not going to get much power out of just any pipe. also do something with your air box.

i assume you mean HMF. if so, they are great pipes too. if i was to get a slip on that would probably be the one i would get.
