Okay I'm looking at the Pro Circuit T-4 exhaust for my 400EX. I was wondering if I would have to rejet if I put it on my 400EX.

 

u dont have to rejet to put on an exhaust, thats a whole different task, u can get the exhaust and then like next month u can rejet it if u want to

 

I just recently got a prociruit t-4 silencer, and yes yo need to rejet it. other wise you will have problems, such as the header pipe will glow red, or backfiring. and you will foul your plug over time , go with a Pro Circuit T-4 and a 152 main jet.

 

Thanks, I was wondering if i should put an FMF powercore 4 on instead, but i like the pro circuit, what do you guys think. will i have to rejet for the fmf powercore 4?

 

with any decent pipe, you should rejet. i would get the HMF, LRD, Sparks, etc over the T-4 or the FMF.

 

why would you get those over the t4 or fmf

 

these pipes will out-do the others in my opinion. i probably would get the sparks or lrd in a full system. i just don't have experience with the hmf complete. however, the hmf slip on has a nice growl and the quality is top notch. the hmf is pretty cheap for the quality too.

 

RyEx -What is the size of the end cap on your Pro curcuit? The outside dia. of the end cap. I need to order a new end cap but don't know what size it is. MY quad is not here or I whould get it myself.
