Default my 400ex has a powerband hit

thanks i read the service manaul good last night and i think i know what i'm doin. how delecate are those jets? the main jet looks like it will need a very small wrench. it suggested compressed air. what about that idea? i think i'll take it off this weekend or somthing when my dads around cuz he'll get mad if i take it apart and without tellin him a mess somthing up. lol. thanks.

Default my 400ex has a powerband hit

compressed air is just fine. the jets aren't that delicate. just don't bend the float. if you don't drop anything, you should be fine. you remove the mainjet with a 6mm socket or a cresent wrench. the pilot jet comes out with a flat blade screwdriver.
