It means its a part that is does not come on the ATV originally. It could be a part to improve it, or to just replace it. Usually certain companys specialize in certain type of parts.

 

After = post incident, somthing was before or previous

Market = place to shop, group of vendors that sell product

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

Aftermarket is(are) things that you may purchase after your original purchase that are better/updated/different than OEM.
