What has more horsepower? A stock raptor or a 440 ex with modified cam, intake,jets,and exhaust?
Will a 440 beat a DS in a straight out drag race?

 

The DS is a very impressive machine, it'll take the 440. Focus on beating inferior machines like the craptor so you can brag how you won against a quad with 220 more cc's of displacement.

 

heh which likely will not happen, ive raced a 440ex and they are nothing impressive to me! if you want a real goal try and beat a piped raptor on flats...

 

i have all three of those machines in the garage, a very well done 440 can beat a stock raptor or ds on a sand hill, add parts to the others and that goes away.

 

You may have raced A 400ex but you haven't raced MY 440ex, trust me, mine isn't the average 440ex.

 

You 440 guys better just shoot for trying to beat a piped Raptor or DS. Anything more and you'll be owned. My buddies Sparks 440 is pretty impressive, but they told him he would have no problem with piped Raptors. Needless to say he's lucky to take a piped Raptor, and anything with internal mod's will take him.

 

Yall must not have met scott terry with his 440 ex he raced in the pro class a couple weeks ago, came in second and beat dana creech on his YFZ450!
