what would happen if a 400ex had a blown head gasket? I think mine might be blown but im not sure. What effects woudl happen so i know if mine is blown. Guys i need help let me kno whats the problem with my bike.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

there is a good chance there would be oil coming from the head gasket is seated. the power difference may be noticable and it may not be. my buddies leaked a little bit but a power loss wasnt' noticable.

 

Do a compression leak down test see what the compression PSI is, then see if it will hold that pressure. It may leak some but it shouldn't leak to 0 PSI.

 

The head gasket on my trike was gone...i only found out in the winter tho because it leaked oil quite exceessivly...not goood..i didnt notice any power difference either G/L w/ that
