I was just wondering if anyone knew of some good places to ride. Anywhere within an hour radius of Pittsburgh. We have a large group of 400EX's (6) that are looking for a club to join or new places to ride.

BTW, we are very respectful riders...all above the age of 21. (not that it means anything )

The best place to ride is Avella! Miles and miles of trails. The trails go as far as WV. and OH. Lots of riders on Sat. and Sun. We ride their just about every Sunday (3 400ex's) If you want to ride sometime let me know.

almost forgot, we are all over 21. I'm not sure if thats good or bad? I think that means we still ride fast but we just have to stop and rest a little more then we use to!

Thanks! One question....where exactly is that...I assume way south of Washington PA.... around Waynesburg? Thanks again... Oh, there's a lady that rides with us too... she is looking for a female riding partner... I guess 6 400EX's tend to be a little rough for her ;-)

Avella is out past Hickory on RT 50. It is more west of Washington then south. You can take RT18 from Washington to RT 50 then hang a left, and about 10 - 15 min you will deadend into Avella.

Where do you park when you ride in Avella? Have you ever ridden in Southpark?

We ride everywhere in avella, but I like the trails heading down towards Wellsburg, WVA.
Hillclimbs, creek crossings, ridges and tight woods.Great practice for harescrambles or you can slow down and make your own trail.Sometimes we'll play around on the slate dumps just on the other side of the tunnel.
