You buy Pro Armor from their web site, you are paying their RETAIL price. Rockymountainatv buys from Pro Armor in mass quantities, therefore they get a greatly reduced WHOLESALE price, and can sell them at a profit for less than Pro Armor will sell them retail. Plus rockymountain makes a lot of money on shipping and handling with the amount of orders they ship daily.
Glad I could help.
When you order it from rockymountianatv.com make sure you sign up to get their catalogue. You get two a year Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. It's free and a lot easier to find things than on their website.
Have fun & ride safe.

So I bought the pro armore skid plate and I went to install it today. I hadn't previously noted that the original skid plate has some sort of chain guide attached to it. They are really one piece but the pro armor skid plate doesn't have it. I'm not sure if I realy want to remove that chain guide. What do you think? Do any aftermarket skidplates come with this?

Most after market skid plates don't have a chain guide on them. You can mount one on it if you want, but most guys go without. I didn't put a chain guide on mine. You will hear your chain slapping on the skid plate though. Either way works just fine.

I've had my pro armor skid plate for only 5 months and it absolutely sucks. I have had to take it off and beat it back into shape 2 times and it needs it agian. My brake rotor flange has chips all over it from inadequate coverage. I'm throwin this POS in the trash. I think I'll try the Protect Stainless Steel skidplate. This pansy aluminum crap isn't doing the trick.
