My brake rotor flange has chips all over it from inadequate coverage. I'm throwin this POS in the trash. I think I'll try the Protect Stainless Steel skidplate. This pansy aluminum crap isn't doing the trick.

Protec stainless is the best way to go in my opinion. Had one on the Raptor after demolishing an aluminum one. Had 3 brands on the 400exs and demolished all of them too. You can only beat them back into shape so many times. Now, all the 400exs have the Protec. If you do have a 400ex though, ask them to put another piece of stainless on the portion where it mounts to the back of the swingarm. Otherwise, it will eventually bend around the mounts since they look like threaded sockets sticking down from the swingarm.
Riding at Hatfield McCoy and hitting rocks 4th and 5th gear and I haven't demolished one of these yet.
