Inside the carburator there is a pilot screw, it is brass colored. I need to know how many turns counterclockwise it is from being seated tightly...full rotations.

Are we all talking about the same things?
If its inside the float bowl... then its a pilot jet, and its always tightly seated.
If youre talking about the mixture screw.. its never tightly seated, that will wreck it, just lightly seat it, and come out from there.

In this view, number 6 is the mixture screw, and # 37 is the pilot jet. carb pic

no...the pilot jet is actually the slow jet (#38)
im talking about the pilot screw...it doesnt go in all the way and its not seated tightly. But if you do turn it in all the way it wont ruin it, im not talking about the fuel/air mixture screw on the outside. If you get into the float there is a brass colored flat head screwdriver type screw in it that is out. I need to know how many full rotations out it is from being tightly seated at the bottom.
