Vsandrat- He said that his motor was sputtering and boging with a BLACK plug so he was running rich, plus his motor is stock (no porting). He should be right there with jetting or mabey even have to go lower sence hes still fouling them.

Eceriderjbomb- Ill almost garentee your motor isnt siezed unless your left side crank seal recently went bad.. Sometimes the kicker on the 250R gets stuck so you have to take off the right side cover (as your sitting on the bike) and re mesh all the gears, BUT before you do that i would take drain the antifreeze and take off the head to see what everything looks like. If it all looks normal see if you can push down on the piston and if it moves your motor isnt seized but if it doesnt move (has to be in nuetral) then your motor is probly siezed, or has something to do with your crank assembly. if you have any Q's AIM me.

souds like it could be your cdi box. when mine went bad I had to rejet every 5 mins and then it seized because I leaned it it out (same as you) to make it run better.

I guess I'm blind but I don't see any mention in any of the posts about the plug color. Maybe it hydro locked from flooding due to dirt in the needle. That's still a small main jet for a 38mm carb, I'm at 800 ft alt and run a 180 with complete stock intake system....

Yeah he personally told me about his colors and thats what i based his numbers on, but im running 162 with a very very mild port job in mine with the 38mm at the same evevation.

Bansheesmocker- thats a good point. electrical systems play with peopls heads but that still doesnt explain his kicker siezing up....Ecerider, you should check to make sure your grounded out completly and all eletrical parts are tightly connected.
