Default Sprocket question

When i get my 416 or 426 kit i am gonna put a hotcam stage 2 in it. I hear that tends to lose a little bit of bottom end speed. In order to make that up what size sprocket should i get...how many teeth?

Ride it first. Then then decide. should only be a 1-2 tooth needed on the counter depending on if you want more top speed or more acceleration.

WIth more power you might go one or two teeth down in the back. I put two teeth down on the R and didn't like it, not enough low torque, so i stuck with one tooth down....it makes a big differnece.

Default Sprocket question

you will not be loosing any bottom end with the new cam ,just gaining more mid and top end. most poeple i know who pump up 400ex's ,including myself, gear up. they'll pull it thats what they do . their a long stroke motor.(comparatively speaking)
