Just bought mine first ride out decide to cross craig's creek to clean it off some from the long day of riding and just for fun. Made it acrooss but on the way back I found a drop off. Watter was up over the head light in the front and almost over the seat in the rear. By the time I stoped the hole thing had sunk. It ran for a minuter or two and died. Once I got off and pushed it out(easy the rear end floats) I started it up. Took a few tries but it started. I first drained the air box. When it started it was pretty cool cause it shoot water out the exhaust for a god two minutes like a jet ski. Thank goodness it didn't mess any thing up. But hey it was just another rider error.

I had the same problem. It took me a while to figure it out but I found it. One of the breather hoses on the carb needs to be raised up. I think it is the one on the left hand side (sitting on the quad). I just took mine and pulled it up and ran it through one of the air box clamps. It runs grfeat and have had it in almost chest deep water. The key is to sit back and keep the front end light. When you get in deep the front will float to the top and you can just go on through it.
