Could someone please recommend exhaust for a 2004 400 rancher AT, and 2003 Sportrax 250ex. I understand this is the best and cheapest way to get a little more out of an atv.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

From what i ahve read the air filters really dont help that much

I just put an HMF pipe on my 2004 AT. It is an awesome difference. Seems the engine is much more responsive, smooth, and free. The sound is awesome as well - not too loud with the acceleration sound I'm use to on 4 stroke big bore dirt motorcycles. I'm very pleased with the changes this pipe made. It is also well made and significantly lighter than the stock pipe.

I can find it cheaper than that /\ /\ but I agree HMF make a good pipe. on a side note the HMF only comes in a full system for the 250 ex.

 

Let me know where you can find it cheaper - may be gettin one for my wifes bike too after she tries mine. I had hard time finding places on the web that listed this pipe.

I would also reccomend hmf, for a 250ex. It switched my friends from turtle, to rabbit mode, and from chiwawa(sp) to pit bull!

 

I think it might be the only full system for the 250ex unless graylon proline has one not really sure... I would reccomend Whitebrothers E series or HMF.. Hmf comes with jettings to witch is a plus
