Does anyone have any info on the Rubicon recall or any service bulletins? I know it was a weld on the upper A-arm, but does anyone have a copy of the recal notice? People on here have talked about production runs (red being the first and green being the second) so was it fixed for the second. I got my Rubicon (green) this week and so far I have heard of the recall and a computer problem. I am getting pretty worried. My local dealer has to be the worst dealer in the world. I just called them and they said they did not even know about the recall.

 

The issue was a possible missing weld on on an a-arm. The dealers were faxed the specifics by Honda of N.A. and the dealer would contact the owner. I took mine in. The weld was there and a the dealer marked the rear axle to verify the inspection was performed. Then they had to fill out paperwork and fax it back to Honda. If you need more information, let me know.

 

Do you know what the marking on the rear axle looks like?

 

I would like any information you have. I received my Rubicon around 8.2.00. I have not had a chance to ride yet and I am very curious about these problems before I do take it out.

I have had two other Honda’s, 95' TRX300 and 98' TRX450S. Both of these had zero problems after hundreds of hours and miles.

Please, any information you have would be appreciated.

The honda shop marked his rear axle after inspecting it to show that they had inspected it. It's not like Honda inspected them from the factory and marked the ones that were right!!! Read his post again.
