I clocked my 300ex with a gps this weedend and I toppped out at 84kph I have 20' tires but I'm not sure of the sprockets I bought it used and never counted the teeth! Check out my profile for the list of mods it should go faster I didn't hit the rev limmiter at top speed it just wouldn't go any faster!

My son's 300ex has 20" Fast Trekkers, a 14 tooth front sprocket ( stock is 13) and I clocked it at 54 mph on my gps. Just a quick calculation for kph to mph, a kilometer is .6 of a mile, so kph x .6 = mph. 84 x .6 = 50.4
Yours should go at least that fast, but a lot of things can affect top speed, jetting, bad spark plug, dirty air filter, low tire pressure, valve adjustment. Make sure your quad is in top shape, do a plug check to see how your jetting is, and try it again. Just realize a 282 cc quad is only going to go so fast.

1kph=.625mph
84kph x.625=52.5mph
Mine does 80kph in low

That sounds about right. Because a 8kph = 5mph so that puts you just over 50mph. It will go about 55 with 22 inch tires and with the gearing down bue to the 20 inchers, you will lose top end but gain acceleration.
