I have a quick question for all of you. What kind of rims to the 400ex come with stock. I want to get an 11-9 rim since every tire out there comes in 11-9. The stock 10-9 only has like two different kinds of tires that will fit stock and 18" holeshots which will kill my ground clearence. Anyways, do you think itp t-9's look similar? I just want to have to buy rear rims and not fronts. Thanks.

 

I have 22-11-9 tires on stock 9 by 9 wheels. I'm not sure what you are looking for but there is more then 2 tires that fit 400ex stock rear wheels.

 

wait, you can put an 11 wide 9 inside dia tire on a 9 wide 9 inside dia rim? Thats 2 inches wider, how do the tires fit?

 

The razr2's are bubbled up just a little but not bad. A different tire say a blackwater or a klaw you would never see the bubble.

 

i think your a little mixed up...stock rear rims are 9x9...i don't think you can get a 11in rim for one

 

Wow, lots of confusion! The stock rims are 9X8. You can (and I have) put a ##X11-9 tire (Holeshot) on that rim. It will bulge a little in the middle because the rim is a little narrow, but no big deal.

A better choice would be an ITP 9X9 rim. I have these on all my big sport bikes. I run Holeshot XC 20X11-9 or XCT 22X11-9 on these rims. These are the rims Holeshots are designed for!

Alright, aside from the different rim size opinions, do the stock rims look like itp t-9's? And, the stock rims are 10x9, just looked it up on the nacs racing website. I will get mine next friday so this is all that i have to base my claim off of.
