I think I pretty much narrowed my choice to the DMC Alien full exhaust for my 300ex. Anyone have one or seen/heard anyone with one? I dont see many postings on here about DMC's and I just wanted to know how good they are. I am looking for overall increase in power/sound, and I want to be different. Also, I will be rejetting and putting a K&N filter along with the Alien. Any help would be appreciated.

 

from what i hear dmc's arent the greatest thing in the world and there are much better substitutes for the money, if your gonna spend that much money on it go for white bros.

 

I went with the big gun. I was looking at the alien and big gun both same price at rocky mountain. I have heard the DMC Alien and they were obnoxiously loud. If they are to loud they just get annoying after a while of riding. I noticed a nice improvement with the big gun

 

ive got the dmc on my 400ex, and i used to have a white brothers...no comparison. Dmc kills it performance wise, the white bros even cracked after about 8 months. I do agree that the dmc is very loud, but not obnoxiously so. If you live in a residential area you might want to consider something more quiet or get a spark arrestor...up to you.

but i have had good luck with the dmc and i like it alot, doesnt mean you will though

 

according to a pipe shootout in dirtwheels big gun and white bros had the most hp gains. from what i have heard the dmc arn't all that great

 

do you think that a 300ex would sound the same as a 400ex with the full alien exhaust? How big of a difference is there in HP gains with other pipes vs. the DMC??
