Default Exhaust!

Right now I have a full yoshimura exhaust and im looking for a slip on or something a little bit louder any suggestions on which one to get that will give me a deeper, louder sounding, the yoshimura is a little sounds a little but stock until you get on it just wanting something that sounds better all the time.

If I already had a full yoshi exhaust, I'd leave it alone.

Louder doesn't mean more power.

Louder is why atvs aren't welcome at a lot of places. Quiet and stealthy is always better. If your already louder than stock aftermarket exhaust isn't loud enough, then you just don't get it. Its probably already loud enough for people that don't welcome quads to complain about. Noise is one of the biggest reasons riding areas get shut down. People that don't ride don't want to hear your loud quad disturbing the peace. If you're in a remote enough location, it might not matter. But if you're near a residential area, you can be certain there are a few people there who hate noise and will call the cops on you if you're too loud.

This is a first for me, someone that already has a full top flight system looking to llikely lose power but gain noise! Personally, I have had loud systems and never want another. Plenty of companies like Yosh putting up great numbers and lower sound. I have lost riding areas in part due to noise complaints. I would rather have places to ride than sound cool. Maybe I am just getting old...

I could not agree with you guys more. That is the reason I have not gone to an aftermarket exhaust. I want an exhaust that will be AS quiet, and actually QUIETER than stock. And it IS a major factor of why ATVs are unwelcome many places. Personally, I hate loud exhausts.

I was having trouble finding a stock muffler for my old Prairie and was considering a DG as it was the only one I could find at the time. I spoke to someone in their sales dept. and he told me even with all the noise cancelling inserts it would still be louder than my stock, plus, I'd have to rejet, but thankfully I finally found a new OEM.
