has anybody else out there tried to run an after market rev yet

 

hey i am messaging you about your 440 carb you have for sale, you posted it for sale on my thread and i didnt know if you would get my responce and i figure this way, it will e-mail you. I am curious how much you want for it because thats what i want to buy next but i dont think i have the funds for it this month but if you will please hit me back with a price maybe we can work something out! Or maybe you happen to put a new carb on your 450r and dont want your stock one... just a thought and a chance

I got a big gun model for my 450r. I changed it in the middle of the day at the dunes. I was amazed at how much difference it made. It revved a little faster and revved alot higher. I think it is 1000 rpm more but it is alot.

I have a stage 2 cam, wiseco 11.5:1, a little porting, open airbox, and a stock muffler with a 2" insert.

i liked my box until it came to dragging up sand mntn. it pulled harder with the stocker. the guys on 450r.org say this box can potentially ruin your motor. im saving my pennies for the curtis sparks cdi flywheel combo. after i get it ill start running alc/meth. , sooner or later ill do the 520 nmotion unless vc comes out with a bolt on 14:1 480 kit.

 

also no it came off a 440 set up and i wish i could afford a new carb for my 450 its like 700 bucks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]
