Does anyone have any experience with the CT engine with the 12:1 kit... How do they run, should I change carb, what octane gas?

My engine was originally a 13.5:1 CT built engine and it was supposed to run 110 octane but all i could find was 100. With a 12:1 setup, 100 octane would be fine. Changing the carburetor would give you some pretty good performance gains but you dont really need to, a simple re-jet should help.

420, how do you like your supertrapp? Is it a deep sound? Where could you notice the biggest power increase? Thanks.

I love my supertrapp! It's not as deep as the big gun but I noticed gains thru the entire powerband and best of all, I can adjust it for sound and power. It's an excellent pipe and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The only thing that i must warb you about is to make sure you use the anti-seize stuff they give you with the pipe and put it on the bolts that hold the discs in because if you dont, they will seize and break off when you attempt to remove the discs.
