So you guys, I finally called about the details of the rebate, and it is true. Rancher has a 3yr, $3000 rebate at the lovely price of $4599 (2x4 with elect. shift) and $5399 (4x4 with elect. shift). The rebate does not have to be used toward a new machine from honda or anything like that (although this is probably the best thing you could do with the cash). CASH IN THE HAND BABY! The sale is good through the end of July. There is also a $4000 rebate for the 450 foreman, but I have no idea what it lists. Anyway, I will be getting a rancher in a week or so for around $2000, so I'll be a very happy man.

 

Is this a rebate from Honda - or the dealer?

Still makes no sense why they would sell a $4000 retail bike for $2000.

If the rebate is from Honda and I had it in writing I'd beleive it - because I know they will still be here in 3 years.

If it is from the dealer I wouldn't trust it for 1 minute because it simply does not add up mathmatically and they don't have to be here in 3 years - especially if they owe tons of people $3000 and $4000 each.
