I recommend the sparks pipe and silencer, its loud but that loudness is assosiated with the performance gain that the bike recieves, the pipe is great, ceramic coated inside and out, looks crome and defused heat effectively, i have the x6 race pipe it is full flow w/o s/a, check out the pics at sparksracing.com

I don't know anything about the pro-meg pipe but I have the CSR type 4 pipe on my 400. My enegine is stille stock. The pipe is very, very loud but it does run so much better. I could not belive the different that it made in the power band. It had so much power in the woods coming out of corners and it helped the top end also. The person that was riding behind me, said that the next time we rode he was going to wear ear plugs because it was so loud. If you are going to be racing this is what alot of the racers are using because of the gains in power.

I just got my Sparks put on this weekend. It makes a huge difference. I went from a 14 tooth countershaft sprocket back up to a stock 15 tooth at the same time I put on the pipe and I think it still has more bottom-end power than before.
The pipe is quite loud but it sounds great. Looks really good too. I'm also hoping to get the Sparks ignition advance key in it this week. I'm really interested in what kind of a difference it will make.
