Not that I use it that often, but it's there so it ought a work, but my parking brake on my 400 doesn't work. When I pull in the clutch all the way to lock it in place it works, but when I let the clutch go back it doesn't. I'm sure it's a simple adjustment...so does anyone have a clue or have had this problem?
Thanks, Drew

Parking brake block off plate:

what is it for: removes the complicated setup on the rear capiler, and removes the parking brake while still allowing the capiler pistion to be pushed in, price 10-12 bucks

Why get one: to save your pads "if you try to adjust it alot", and to create a simplier setup

What else you should do if you get one: remove the cable, and remove the stock clutch lever and perch, and replace with a cr250 "MSR" style clutch lever and perch.... around 30 bucks

Why should you do this: because i did it, and i'm the man. LOL

C400EX1234....Thanks for the info.....so you are telling me that you no longer have a parking brake??
And are you replacing the clutch cable as well as the lever? What are the advantages of switching the lever...other than it's cool cuz you got one?? Also (since I'm bored at work), how long does that conversion take??? Something the average "joe" could do?
Thanks, Drew

my fellow atver who is bored at work:

YES, Thy parking brake on the capiler is gone, thy parking brake cable hast been banished, and thy Stock clutch lever and perch thou art gone.

the cr250 style clutch and perch is more comfortable, and simpler. However thou dost not have to replace thy clutch cable, for thee stock cable works with a cr250 lever.

and yes it is cool.... why:
1. i have one..
2. easier pull (maybe i'm crazy)
3. more confrontable (so you can confront people with it) J/K i mispelled it confortable (did i get it right?)

However if thy chooses to use the stock clutch lever and perch, you may do that also... but you'll get made fun of in the trails.... (not really but...)

Don't tell anyone, but:

You can purchace packages that contain "block off plate, clutch lever and perch" But i didn't do this because i didn't know how good of quality of a lever and perch i was getting.

my suggestion about the "average joe worker"

i am 15, i know a good bit about quads and dirtbikes, and i put mine on in less than an hour.... But i sealed my block off plate with silicone because i lost the gasket....

If you need help there are 3 things you can do:
1. panik, and light some gasoline you have sitting in your garage
2. e-mail me
3. reply to me
