250ex vs 300ex
I have a 400ex, but my wife has a 250ex. First time i jumped decent it bottomed out. The only reason I got her the 250 is because it has auto clutch. If you only trail ride 250 would be fine. But if you want any decent speed/power I would go with 300

Get the 300, that was the first quad I got and loved it! I didnt really like the gearing so I changed it, you cant do that on a 250. The light on the handlebars is great on the trailes at night. And there is alot more aftermarket mods for them. Just my 2cents

I have a 300EX and a 250EX, go with the 300EX, the turning radius of a 300 isnt as tight as that of a 250 but you would be much happier with the overrall performance of it compared to the 250. There are much more aftermarket parts for the 300 than the 250. And 400ex plastic and a-arms and shocks,(w/ a kit) will fit on the 300. Ive even heard the axle of a 400 does. I also think 250r a-arms will work w/ the 300, i think 450R's do to , but im not possitive. What type of riding aer you gonna be doing, for just puttin around on the trails, get the 250, but if your gonna race at all or ride more than trails, like tracks, get the 300
