According to several sources on other ATV web pages, the new King of the 4X4's is the 2001SP500HO. October Issue - I haven't received mine yet.

Any info on this quad? Has anyone read a review or product info? Tell us more!

 

All I know is that it is supposed to have 20% more horsepower than the 2000SP500 and it will outrun a GRIZZ. They apparently did several test, and the suspension, ground clearance and trail manors were awesome. The sad thing is that I just bought a 2000SP500 one month ago.

Are the basic specs, other than horsepower different from the SP 500 (such as ground clearance, engine braking, PRICE?) Also, can you refer us to any sites on the Net with info on this beastie? Thanks

 

What did they do to it? Just slap the Scrambler version of the 500 in it or what?

 

Well, if Dirt Wheels said it's the best it must be the best....I know I believe everything I read. If I did I'd have a Ford Focus since the mags are all over that car. Anyone know if the H.O. shedded any weight.

The 4X4 enthusiast have been waiting for these results. Do you think that just becasue the Rubi didn't win, they don't want to know which ATV did??? If this doesn't interest you, don't read it.

I don't care any more for the Rubicon than a do the Polaris. My point is why don't you run your yap on the Polaris forum. If us Honda people want to know anything about the Polaris, we will go there. However, I promise that you'll never see me over there!
