Rear Axle Nut 250R

Default Rear Axle Nut 250R

I can't seem to get the rear axle nut tightened on my R. How exactly are you supposed to get it tightend. Any help would be great.

i assume your speaking of the one that tightens on the rotor.first off its reverse threaded,second you must move it some until its out of travel ,then turn the other locking part into it until you run out of travel with it.back and forth until it preloads the carrier bearing.then tighten the locking part and its done.easier to do then to type it.good luck![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Thanks for the info i finally got it tightend up don't no how long it will hold though i think the threads are stripped on it. but again thanks for the info.
