Default 440EX Carb - Which is best?

Ive had a couple of aftermarket carbs for my 400EX starting with the Keihin 39mm when I had the stock bore. It was too much carb for the stock motor. When I moved up to the 440 kit, I got the Edelbrock 38MM "Doug Eichner" Carburetor. That carb makes the quad run nice, but it's simply not holding up well. After a multitude of lost screws, throttle wheel problems and finnally a broken pump shaft, I'm looking again.

Does anybody have a good 440 carb out there that will hold up to the riggors of dune riding?

Hands down the FCR 41mm carb is the very best carb out there. I couldn't be happier with mine.

What kind of 440 mods do you have with that carb?

1) Piston Compression
2) Head Work
3) Valves
4) Cam

Thanks!
