nerfs?

for the money what is the best company for nerf bars? I am leaning towards Graydon at the moment. What about AC and DG?
I would like opinions from those who have had experience with both.
thanks

I've had the original AC's. They were too small and they were flat: meaning they did not rise as you went towards the rear tire. That rise helps keep your feet off the rear tires and gives you extra ground clearance. They also have to be drilled into the footpegs, which I didn't care for. I sold them and bought a set of Graydons. The Graydons have a nice rise in the rear but a couple of things bothered me: 1. I had to drill and attatch them to the footpegs and they attatch to the bottom frame-rails with 2 U-bolts. These U-bolts make it very difficult to attatch a full chassis skid to the quad. I don't like Graydons compatable 2 piece skid; It doesn't look very tough and they are expensive. Plus they always would work themselves loose. So I sold them and got the new AC Pro-pegs. They are, by far, the best. Unless you have ever taken your stock pegs off, you would not believe how heavy they are. For those of you who don't know, the Pro-pegs replace the stock pegs and are a one piece design, attatched to the Nerfs from the factory. In addition, the AC pegs are twice the size of the stockers. Unless Graydon has recently come up with a Pro-peg design [and you still would have the troublesome U-bolts] I wouldn't bother looking at anything else. No offense 1234, I personally don't care for the look of the DG's. I'll send you a pix of both of them.

I also have DG alloy series nerfs with adjustable nets. They rule. They fit great have a good finish. They also keep other riders from running over my legs. What more could U ask for?
A freind of mine has AC pro pegs and his are nice also but they have 2 peices of sheet matel welded to the back of them and as the suspension compresess the back tires grab them.HE tore them off and they are fine now. They have a nice wide ong peg and curve up on the end.

Those sheet metal "things" are sold for liability reasons. Legacy ATV told me AC got sued, hence the re-design. I tossed them out with the box. Once again, I'm not knockin' your set-up. Like the saying goes "there's an a** for every seat".
