i have a 98 banshee and i disconnected the tors system. the last 2 times i rode it, the weather was wet, and the bike goes buy its self! it seems to happen only after i hit some water. the throttle seems to snap back but it still goes like i am holding the throttle a little! i taped up the wires from the tors system could they be getting wet and cause this problem? any help on what it could be it is really getting on my last nerve!!!

 

WOW, a Yamaha owner comming to a HONDA foum for advise! Sorry, I just had to pick on Yamaha.
I don't see how your engine could keep going unless it is running lean, the slide in the carb isn't closing all the way, or your idle is set too high, but I am no Banshee expert.
