Hey, just picked up my 2002 300ex today. I was wondering if they're anyways to slam 400ex plastics on it, then get 400ex headlight and re-wire it all on. Im not to sure about yous but i think the front of it looks dumb. If not i guess i will have to cut some notches in the plastic like the 400ex or something.........

It has been done before there was a guy on ebay that would make the 400ex plastic fit on. Of course you could save a lot of $ by doing it your self. The main part is making brakets.

 

I have seen photo's of it. It looked factory. The big concern is the 400 is five inches longer then the 300. You have to snubb it up, to make it fit.

 

i would go with some fullbores instead. it has the 400 styling without being the 400 plastics. i don't really like the look of 400 plastic on the 300 because then you have the slowest 400ex.

 

I could care less its not like im drag racing anyone. I'm obviously going for looks. Its seems like everyone here has to be the fastest or their quad is the fastest. Kinda childish if you ask me. But anyways, thanks for the tip

 

hey if you find some nice looking plactics tell me cuse i have a 2004 3000ex and i would like to change the plactics to cuse the stock one look retarted.

 

yeah i was gonna do that to my 300ex cuz i hated that headlight and utility piece of plastic covering up the handlebarsbut where we ride everyone lieks to race and i would hate to hear a warrior rider go home and say he beat a 400ex when really he beat a 300ex but yeah man it is possible
