Turns out it was the CDI Box.

Got it running..Runs better than ever, doesn't rev out as fast it seems.

Well, i decided to do some wheelies for the camera. I got a couple nice ones off. Then i went to do one more, flipped it over hard in 3rd gear, no biggie..kicked it back over..and looked up and my pipe was completly tore off. I think i can fix it though.

That is gonna be quite hard to fix. But, like one of my buds said "They ain't nothing a hammer can't fix".

 

AND the saga goes on.

Went to take the muffler off..pop the stud broke off!!

So i had to drill it out..tap it..get a bigger bolt, and make a new stud. And put it all back together, in only 2 hours!

So it's running again!

I was going to keep it..but screw it! i'm selling it.

My grandpa just gave me an 87 4x4 S-10 that needs a motor, i'm thinking 350, lift kit and some nice tires!

Ok, i'm dreaming, i want an LT250R!

 

How did you like that sparks pipe before you wrecked ! Does it provide a big power gain for the 300ex ?

Just curious I have never seen one in person (sparks pipe that is )

I like it..nice pipe.


I need some advice though, i got it patched up..it's not leaking..but it sits kind of crooked..i i had to twist it to the right a little so i had new places to put bolts. It doesn't look bad.

Should i just sell this thing? It has a broken pipe bolt, fixed though..pretty good i might add. I think it will hold forever.

I just don't know..i wanted to keep it because its running better than ever..but now i don't know

 

Now that you got it running good, it should keep on running.

 

hehe thats nothing, i had a cobra race exhuast on my 300 the "muffler" and that trumpet thing came of when i was wound out! so there was just a 1 1/2 inch head pipe that stoped right buy my leg loud as all hell!!! and i had to ride w/it like that for 5 miles till i got home....
