My 2003 400EX is about 3 months old and it seems like the clutch or somthing is going out. Sometimes it feels like its slipping and other times it will kick out of gear down to the gear below it. Does this sound like a problem that would be covered under warranty?

What oil do you use? The wrong oil can hurt yuor clutch.

 

I use honda oil..... The stuff the dealer said was the right oil.

 

Take it in and have them check it then. The factory gives you 6 months, they will at least tell you the problem.
