how to pop a wheelie
#6
What are you trying to do it on? What kind of quad? As a beginner, maybe you should start out slow. Try standing with one knee on the seat with your foot against the rear rack or grab bar. Your other foot will be on a foot peg. Shift your body weight towards the back of the quad. Start out slow and then give it a boost of gas while pulling back on the bars. Hopefully this will pop the front end up. Be careful that the quad doesn't tip back too far. Don't drive beyond your limits.

i dont like winding it up and dumping the clutch. because im not certain how high it will throw me. i just putt along in 1st or 2nd them pull up on the handlebars and gun it. that way you can control is better imo.

I think it's much easier to just put along and then jerk the throttle a little bit. That brings the front end up on my no problem and it's a lot easier to do than dumping the clutch.
Good luck! I still stink at wheelies but I'm getting slightly better every now and then
