Default Should I buy this 450R???????

I am looking to buy this 450R at this dealer that has been traded in and i would like to know what you guys think. The R is a 2004, it has nerf bars on it, skid plates all around, an aftermarket bumper, and a procircuit pipe on it. When i started it, the idle was set very high. Is this common on the R or would he have it set that way for a certian reason? They are asking $5500 for this quad. Is this a good buy or not. Please let me know if the idle is something i should look more closely at or not...THANKS DOUG

If you cold start it with the choke on it will idle very high until you turn the choke off. With a hot start it should not idle high when started.
New out here are selling for $6,000.00 plus set up fee. Out the door about $7,000.00 with taxes and set up.
