What colour is the smoke, and when do you see it?

Check the oil level, and the quality of the oil. If it smells like gas, it needs to be changed. Make sure you turn the gas valve to off, whenever it isnt running.
Sounds like the float needle and seat need to be looked at. Usually just some steel wool will polish them up, good enough to get them to seal again.
Sometimes, if this has been going on long enough, the gas will wash the oil film from the cylinder wall, on the way down to the crankcase. Then when its started... the rings are dry, and they end up scratching the cylinder wall. If you do a compression check, it should let you know how bad its scratched.

The oil level is good.Im changing it right now.As far as how long,it never smoked at all untill yesterday.I adjusted the valves. After I was finished I let it warm up and when I shut it off gas started pouring out of the overflow tube and thats why I thought it was the float beeing stuck so I cleaned the carb real good.I just installed a jet kit a couple of weeks ago so the needle should be ok.I called the local Honda shop and they have been on the same path as us but are not sure either.I seems we all agree that its a fuel issue?Thank for your ideas, please keep them coming till we get it figured out.

is the air filter over oiled? Is the breather putting alot of oil into the air box? Try a test ride , with out the filter on, and see if it smokes then. If the smoke goes away, then the filter is over oiled.

I let it run for a while today without the filter so I think Im going to have to take it to the shop.Ive gone over everything I know.I think after looking into it further today that it lookes like it may be burning oil .Maybe a ring just went bad I guess. It still just seems weird to me that it never did it till I adjusted everything.Never had a single problem with till now.Its got 1300 miles and 270 hrs, sure seems a little early to be burning up rings?
